This work connects to the Wiradjuri Tribe. It captures our Totem of
’The Dirawong’ (Goanna) as they circle eachother. This circular union signifies their bond with their people and ancestors as well as the importance to protect each other and our stories for future generations. The river flowing in the middle acts as a peaceful reminder of water and its purpose in connecting the land and the sea. The ocean, rivers, creeks and lakes are always among us. They surround each person on this earth, regardless of who they are.
