About Artist & Designer: Tiana Reid

I am a proud Bundjalung and Wiradjuri Artist and I would like to acknowledge all my brothers and sisters who walk this land with me as well as all elders past and present.

For us, Country is a word representing all our values, resources, stories and culture. It describes the entirety of our ancestral connections. I am proud to walk this land with them and share our story.

Since graduating from high school, I have always wanted to continue to pursue my art and connection to my culture. Selecting Visual Arts as my Major during my schooling gave me the chance to express my heritage and family as well as find my true passion in painting.

In 2023, I established my own art business, TReid Art Studios, and completed a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business. I am also currently in my final year at the University of Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication and Digital Culture. I have always been a firm believer that one does not need to be restricted in life by a single opportunity. I pride myself in creating a path that leads me towards achieving my passions and true happiness.

I am a confident, ambitious artist who embraces all opportunities and enjoys sharing my work with the community.

I currently specialise in watercolour paintings, particularly focusing on the flora and fauna of my Culture and the natural environment that surrounds us. Through dot paintings, paper lace carvings, realism, boomerangs and rock paintings; I have found ways to connect to Country and to bring communities together through visual art.
